To protect your health and wellbeing, Physio-4u is continuing to adapt the clinic and its policies following the Government and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Covid-19 guidelines.
In order to provide a safe environment for staff and patients there will be some modifications to your visit:
Telephone or video calls are our first approach for your assessment and treatment, allowing us to determine suitability for a face to face appointment.
Waiting in car to be called into the clinic. Do not enter the clinic if you or anyone in your household or social bubble has:
- a body temperature above 37.8 degrees
- a new onset continuous cough
- difficulty breathing
- severe fatigue
- loss of taste or smell
Staggered appointments to avoid others and provide cleaning time
Wearing a face covering, hand sanitising on entry to the clinic and adhering to social distancing
Admission straight into the treatment room for temperature check, Covid-19 re-screening, consent to treatment and test and trace signing
Physiotherapists will be wearing appropriate PPE for questioning and for hands on assessment and treatment.
- Non-latex gloves
- Apron
- Type IIR facemask
- Eye protection
- scrubs to adhere to uniform temperature washing regulations
To maintain ventilation treatment room doors will remain open. Please attend your appointment wearing appropriate clothing so that we can access your problem area easily (we will preserve your dignity).
Aprons and gloves will be removed and disposed of and the room sanitised after each patient
Payments may be made via internet banking. If this is not possible, cash/cheque payments may be taken by placement in one of our envelopes so we can handle it later
